Our Business Our business grows Bedding plants, Medicinal Herb’s,
Culinary Herbs and Vegetable plants in approximately 5,600
square feet of greenhouse space on the premises. What had
been a four-car garage has become the retail store. We as
owners have a vision. Combined with plenty of hard work and
a significant investment of personal funds has allowed what
began as a small venture in 1992 to grow into a Family owned
and operated business with home grown quality that can’t
be beat.
Our Passion Our goal is to inspire all those with an interest
in gardening and to help people share a passion for our plants.
One of our favorites we would be honored to offer is the Hardy
Perennial called the CHRYSANTMUM. The fragrant, easy to grow
and care for perennial is one of the most visible and pleasing
signs of autumn. You can almost smell the beauty of this high
quality gift of pleasure one could give to a loved one or
yourself.
Our History The Mansion Market is located in the Village of Honeoye,
NY, neighboring Honeoye Lake in the New York Finger Lakes
region. The property, with significant acreage, includes a
large historic mansion named “The Pitts Mansion”
(explaining the business name) dating to the mid-1820’s.
The history of this home is a designated landmark noted as
part of the Underground Railroad.
